Our Explorer unit takes part in lots of activities. We would like to share a few of them with you.

In preparation for the Explorer's Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Expedition, they had a practice hike from Manor Park Country Park (West Malling) Back to the Scout Hut (Maidstone). We met at an earlier time of 6:30pm so the planned hike could be longer than our usual meeting time. The Explorers were split into their three DofE groups. The three groups planned their own routes the previous week. The Explorers walked the best part of 6.5 Miles during the hike. Each group had four check points, in which they had to tie a drop card.
